This Privacy Policy explains how Evoqtech ("we", "our", or "the company") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the EvoqPulse mobile application ("the App"). EvoqPulse is an employee attendance management tool available on iOS and Android. Use of this App is restricted to employees and authorized personnel of Evoqtech.
1. Information We Collect
a) Account & Identity Information
- Full name, email address, and employee ID (provided at login)
- Job role and access level (Employee, HR Manager, or Super Admin)
b) Location Information
- Precise GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, accuracy, altitude) — collected each time you check in or check out
- Background location (Android only) — the App monitors WiFi network state in the background to detect when you arrive at or leave the office, enabling automatic check-in and check-out
- WiFi network identifiers (Android only) — the SSID and BSSID of the connected network are used solely to verify you are on the designated office network
- Mock location detection — the App checks whether developer mock location mode is active to prevent attendance fraud
c) Attendance & Work Data
- Check-in and check-out timestamps and history
- Daily working hours and attendance status
- Check-in method (automatic via WiFi / automatic via geofence / manual)
- Leave requests including type, dates, and reason
- Regularization requests for correcting missed or inaccurate timestamps
d) Device & Technical Information
- Device platform (iOS or Android)
- Push notification token — used to deliver attendance reminders
- Camera access — used for document scanning in the Drive Sync feature
2. How We Use Your Information
- Attendance tracking — recording and verifying your daily check-in and check-out times
- Automated attendance — triggering check-in/out automatically when your device connects to or disconnects from the office network (Android) or crosses an office location boundary
- Payroll & HR management — providing attendance records used in payroll processing and HR reporting
- Fraud prevention — detecting mock locations and unusual activity to ensure attendance integrity
- Notifications — sending reminders if a check-in or check-out has not been recorded during working hours
- Reporting — generating attendance summaries and analytics visible to HR Managers and Super Admins
3. How We Store & Protect Your Data
- All data is transmitted to and stored on Evoqtech's secure servers over HTTPS
- A small amount of data (disconnect events, flag timestamps) is stored locally on your device in protected system storage and is automatically cleared after a successful sync
- Access to attendance records is restricted by role — employees can only view their own data; HR Managers and Super Admins can view organizational data within their authorized scope
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third-party advertisers or external services. All data collected by EvoqPulse remains within Evoqtech's internal systems and is used solely for workforce management purposes.
5. Data Retention
Attendance and leave records are retained in accordance with Evoqtech's HR data retention policy. You may contact your HR department or system administrator to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your records.
6. Your Rights
As an employee using this App, you have the right to:
- View your own attendance and leave records within the App
- Request a correction of inaccurate records via the Regularization feature
- Request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting HR or your system administrator

8. Children's Privacy
EvoqPulse is intended exclusively for use by Evoqtech employees and authorized personnel. The App is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect data from, anyone under the age of 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
